Friendbase to join Imagine We Rwanda and Validicity AB in UNICEF application.

Happy New Year everyone! We hope you have had a restful and joyous break and are ready for the new adventures 2025 will bring.

We have been hard at work the past week working on an application for funding from UNICEF in their call AI and Blockchain for Data and Trust. The UNICEF Venture Fund is looking to invest in Open Source frontier technology solutions that have the potential to create radical change for children. They are offering up to US$100K in equity-free funding for early-stage, for-profit technology start-ups that can improve the lives of children. Friendbase has teamed up with Rwanda based company Imagine We and Swedish Validicity
and submitted our application.

Imagine We https://www.imaginewe.rw/ will act as project lead and content provider and Valdicity.com will deliver a blockchain solution. Now we wait 1-2 months to hear if we have been shortlisted. We’ll keep you posted!
