Friendbase to join the Solutions Enabler Program at Karolinska Hospital
We are so very pleased to be invited to join the Solutions Enabler Program run by Karolinska University Hospital. This will enable us to discuss with healthcare providers directly about our project “Patient Pals” and so called gated communities. The project is open for companies that have innovative products or services to offer the highly specialized pediatric healthcare at Karolinska University Hospital. Companies that want to be part of shaping a vision for the future of hospital-connected advanced pediatric healthcare at home (SABH1) for children with medical complexity2. Through an innovative Solution Enabler Program for dialogue, we examine during the spring how SABH can develop and what the business world has to offer in support.The societal challenges in children’s healthcare require system changes and innovative solutions. Learning and inspiration are a must. The need for specialized care is increasing faster than the current capacity and financial resources allow. Innovative solutions are needed. We believe that a more patient-centered and team-based care supported by digital transformation is essential to meet the challenges. The regional cooperation project Circle of Life Science3 aims to promote cooperation between healthcare providers, innovative companies and other actors who face societal challenges in healthcare.
The market dialogue lasts for two months and includes steps for presenting the perceived needs of healthcare, submitted solution proposals from companies, meetings for collaboration and knowledge exchange with experts on procurement, regulatory issues, validation and health economics. The program ends with a future-oriented workshop where the participants contribute their different perspectives. Insights, descriptions of products and services and future visions are summarized in a public innovation report.
The program is aimed at innovative companies that develop or already offer products and services that can improve children’s healthcare. By participating in the program, you get the opportunity to directly contribute to the development of future child healthcare, while at the same time building relationships with other companies and leading healthcare players in the field. A particular driving force behind Circle of Life Science and its model for solution enabler programs is the need to create opportunities for dialogue between healthcare actors with clear development plans and start-ups that have solutions in the development phase.
